Community Resilience Model
The Community Resiliency Model (CRM)® is a wellness and prevention program that provides a biological perspective on normal human reactions to stress and trauma. The primary focus of this skills-based stabilization program is to learn to reset the natural balance of the nervous system.
WHAT DOES CRM TEACH?
CRM teaches a holistic, full-body approach to managing stressful or traumatic situations. You’ll learn about what the “The Resilient Zone” is and how to use it to the greatest effect. We’ll discuss the neuroscience behind stress and trauma on the body. Plus! Learn 5 major wellness skills you can practice at home or work!
UPCOMING CRM TRAINING DATES:
At the Kellin Foundation, we specialize in providing services in a trauma-informed framework that recognizes that when children and families are stressed, their development can be negatively impacted.
We believe that the earlier we can assist children and families (and the people that work with children and families) to develop the skills that can help with emotion regulation and stress reduction, the better.
We have found that the Community Resilience Model (CRM) is a very well accepted intervention for individuals of all ages that can provide basic tools to foster growth, resilience, and wellness.
